Nurturing Talent Mentoring Scheme
Mentoring is a powerful tool and as a mentor you can make a big difference.
The Leeds mentoring scheme links up professionals from bioscience and other industries to act as mentors to students in the Faculty of Biological Sciences.
We have developed the mentoring scheme to provide students with the opportunity to enhance their employability, expand their professional networks and increase their confidence. Find out more.

Can you provide a student work placement or one-off project within your organisation? It’s an ideal opportunity if you are looking for new ideas, impartial analysis or help and they’re an important part of our students’ learning experience.

Help with International recruitment / International alumni ambassadors
International Alumni Ambassadors work with staff from our International Office to help recruit students around the world.
Volunteers get involved by talking to prospective students about university life and study at education fairs and sharing personal experiences of living in Leeds at offer holder events and pre-departure briefings.
