2019-present: Postdoctoral researcher in Neuroscience with Dr Beatrice Filippi investigating how insulin resistance develops in the dorsal vagal complex (DVC) of the brain in response to overnutrition

2017-2019: Postdoctoral researcher in Neurogenomics in the lab of Dr Alex Nord at the University of California, Davis. Investigated the role of transcriptional enhancers in neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder and epilepsy

2016-2017: Temporary Teaching Fellow in Neuroscience, University of Leeds

2012-2016: PhD Neuroscience at the University of Leeds, developing bacterial toxins for neuronal tracing and delivery
