Profile

As the Astbury R&I Development Manager I work closely with academics to support large grant applications, facilitate industrial engagement, identify the innovation potential of research and develop routes for translation and identify funding opportunities.  This is done in collaboration with R&I colleagues across the University and Commercial Services to explore opportunities for commercialisation of intellectual property deriving from the faculty.

Before starting this role I worked as a Senior Scientist and then Product Manager for a company making scientific software used by the pharmaceutical sector to support the drug development process.
