Dr Sigurd Ramans Harborough

Before coming to Leeds, I graduated with BSc Hons in Biology at the University of York. I completed my PhD in Structural Molecular Biology at the University of Leeds with Dr Stefan Kepinski, on the earliest events of auxin perception.

I first became a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds in Structural Molecular Biology and Protein NMR in 2017. In 2018 I became a Research Fellow in Molecular Plant Sciences.

Research interests

I am fascinated by the structure of proteins and how they participate in the molecular interactions required for plant development. My current research is focused on the molecular mechanisms of auxin biology using techniques in molecular plant science, molecular biophysics and protein NMR.
