HDRUK Studentships
- Summary: Following funding from Health Data Research UK (HDRUK) the Faculty of Biological Sciences is able to offer 4 fully-funded places to students who have applied to study MSc Precision Medicine: Genomics and Analytics starting in 2022. The funding is open to UK and international students and will cover the cost of UK fees (£12,250) as well as offering a stipend of around £14,785 to cover living expenses. This funding is awarded based on academic merit.

How to apply
To apply for this HDRUK funding at the University of Leeds, you need to have already applied for a place of study on MSc Precision Medicine: Genomics and Analytics. Study applications must be made via the online portal (https://application.leeds.ac.uk/). Scholarship applications without a prior application will not be considered.
Following a study application, you should download and complete this scholarship application form in full and return it electronically to fbspgt@leeds.ac.uk no later than the end of May 2022.
Points to note when completing the scholarship application
- You should only submit ONE form. If you complete this form multiple times, only the most recently submitted form will be considered.
- Incomplete forms will be discarded. All fields are required for a form to be considered complete.
- If you submit the form after the Scholarship application deadline it will be rejected.

Conditions
Applicants whose first language is not English must meet the Faculty of Biological Science’s English Language requirements prior to applying for the scholarship. Scholarships start in September 2022, no deferment of the scholarship is permitted. Students must not be in receipt of any other University of Leeds award.
How are the scholarships awarded?
All Scholarships are selected on the basis of academic merit following review by the selection panel. No other factors such as financial hardship are taken into account. The Admissions Office will not enter into any communication regarding the progress of your application. Applicants will be informed of the outcome no later than the end of July 2022. The University will use the data provided in the application for internal selection and statistical purposes and publish the names of the successful applicants within the University and externally on the University website.
