To be eligible for an OfS award, students must be from at least one of the following underrepresented groups, with priority being given to the first four groups:
- Women.
- Black students.
- Students registered disabled.
- Students from low socioeconomic background (Index of Multiple Disadvantage quintiles 1 and 2, low household income).
- Care experienced students.
- Estranged students.
- Gypsy, Roma and Traveller students.
- Refugees.
- Children from military families, veterans and partners of military personnel.
Non-STEM students and those without a masters already are also encouraged to apply should they meet the other necessary criteria.
The Office for Students scholarships are worth £10,000 per student. Students may also be eligible for the Leeds Masters Scholarships, worth £7,000 per student. Check your eligibility for the Leeds Masters Scholarship.
Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out and can apply for the scholarship before their masters course.
