Why did you choose to come to the University of Leeds to study the above course?
I like the topic of the course.
What did you enjoy about your course?
It contains lab projects where students can get experience and learn professional skills.
What have been the highlights of the course?
A lot of case studies are set as assignments in the modules. It has improved my ability to solve problems.
What was your greatest challenge throughout your course?
Different modules have different research fields. It is really hard to cover all of them at the same time.
What is your research project on and what has it involved?
Gene modification of adenovirus to selectively target and kill human cancer cells. It involved gene cloning, cell culture, virus infection and so on.
How do you think doing a research project will benefit you in the future?
It is essential for me because I will continue my postgraduate study as a PhD student.
How would you rate the facilities available to you throughout your final year project?
They are really good.

I do plan to continue with PhD study in the future. My personal tutor and career officer in the faculty both helped me to find resources and improve my CV.
