Profile
I started in Leeds as an undergraduate before moving to the University of Sheffield for a masters degree in mechanistic biology and a PhD in biochemistry supervised by Dr Rosie Staniforth. After that I got my first job in science working at the University of Kent as a post-doc for Dr Wei-Feng Xue. After 10 years away I came back to Leeds to work as a post-doc for Professor Sheena Radford which is my current position.
Research interests
I am interested in the structure and assembly of amyloid fibrils with a particular focus currently on the dynamic bits that we “can’t see” in certain high resolution structural models because they are too dynamically disordered.
