Profile

I am the AFN Network+ Project Manager, working with Prof Stefan Kepinski on this national project to shape the next decade of research to support and drive the agrifood system’s progress towards net zero.


Previous roles include working as Project Manager for the TALENT Erasmus+ project at the University of Bradford; consultancy work for the British Council on Gender and STEM in South Africa; and as Collaboration Development Manager for the White Rose University Consortium, developing and facilitating White Rose research projects. 
I was a founding member of the White Rose Gender College and the Women@TUOS Network in Sheffield. Working out of the White Rose Brussels office, I managed a range of high profile events in the European Parliament showcasing research and engagement with stakeholders and policymakers. I sat on the Management Group for the CArDiNAL Network creating clinical academic career pathways for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals.


I have wide ranging business development and project management experience across the public sector with particular expertise in sourcing funding, building partnerships, stakeholder engagement and public speaking and have worked in gender equality and STEM; consultancy services for the third sector; and working within the creative sector on inclusive and multicultural theatre. I am a member of Café Europe in Holmfirth, campaigning to rejoin the EU and is a director of the Holmfirth Film Festival.
