Research interests

Genomics of fungi, particularly the ascomycete Neurospora crassa:

(a) integration of genetic and physical mapping data;

(b) gene annotation;

(c) maintenance of a Neurospora crassa genome database;

(d) origin and evolution of gene families, particularly those for secreted hydrolytic enzymes;

(e) ribosomes and other complex heterooligomeric protein complexes.
