Profile

I relocated to Leeds from Australia in 2022 to take up a Lecturer post in Applied Physiology. My background in in sports and exercise science and clinical exercise physiology.

Since taking up the post at the University of Leeds, I have had the amazing opportunity to pursue my two interests: Female Health in Sports Exercise and Physical Activity. i have developed skills sets in quantiative and qualitative rsearch and am passionate about exploreing the interestion between physical, social and regulatory environments on gender, race and culture and this impact on injury risk, helath and disease throughout the life course, specifcally in women. I have a interest in concussion and RED-S in sports and phsycial activity and exercise participantion throughout the llife cycle and menstrual cycle for women. 

I am also Clinical Exercise Physiologist, obtaining an Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) accredited undergradute degree in Australia. I have worked with people with including cardiometabolic, mental health and musculoskeletal. I am an advocate for exercise for prevention and medicine for clinical disease and longevity. 

I am also interested in international student scholarship and the incluence of culture on learning.
