FEI Titan Krios microscopes

We operate two Titan Krios transmission electron microscopes equipped with FEI/Thermo Fisher Scientific Falcon 4i direct electron detectors (DEDs), enabling high‑resolution imaging. Both instruments are fitted with Selectris energy filters and support high‑resolution data collection for single‑particle analysis and cryo‑electron tomography. In addition, each microscope has Aberration‑Free Image Shift (AFIS) and fringe‑free imaging capabilities, ensuring optimal data quality and throughput.

Talos L120C microscope

TEM used for imaging ambient specimens, equipped with a Lab6 filament and Ceta-16 CCD camera. For single particle workflows, EPU software is available for automated data collection. For tomography workflows, a high-tilt side-entry and Tomo software is available for the collection of tilt-series.
