External Users
The Facility is happy to provide all our services and equipment access to external users on either a fee-for-service or collaborative rates basis.
Our external academic rates for routine analysis are listed below. For industry rates or quotes for access to our advanced MS instrumentation please get in touch to discuss your requirements (mass-spec@leeds.ac.uk).
Please note that by submitting samples to the MS Facility for analysis you agree to our conditions of service and acknowledgement. Users taking advantage of our collaborative rates also agree to abide by our publications policy. A copy of these can be found here.

We can offer beth collaborative rates (academic users only) and fee-for-service rates (academic and industry) depending on the type of work you would like to pursue. Collaborative rates require an agreement to abide by our serivce and publication conditions and submission of a purchase order denotes agreement with those conditions.
Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we will be happy to provide quotations for work.
Sample submission for external users
If you wish to send a sample to the Facility for analysis, please contact us via email at mass-spec@leeds.ac.uk to arrange delivery. We also offer the opportunity for external users to visit the Facility and help perform their data processing, acquisition and analysis if they wish.
We now use iLab, for all instrument bookings and analysis requests, please get in touch with the Facility when you are ready to make a booking and we will guide you through the process.
Results for molecular mass analysis and de novo sequencing are usually available and emailed to you within five working days of receipt depending on demand and provided all instruments are fully operational.
