Biomedical Technology

Our research

Our research focuses on biomedical technology, from the structure and function of molecules up to the engineering of whole new tissues.

This new knowledge underpins how we can treat diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, and regenerate and replace joints and tissues.

No single field of science can provide complete explanations for how we function, or why disease takes a hold.

That’s why we collaborate with researchers across biology, chemistry, medicine, and engineering to innovate and create new treatments and diagnostics.
