BBSRC White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) in Mechanistic Biology
The BBSRC White Rose DTP trains researchers of the future so that they are equipped to address and solve fundamental and strategic biological questions of national and global importance in the Biology and Biological Sciences Research Council’s (BBSRC) core areas. These areas are ‘Bioscience for sustainable agriculture and food’, ‘Bioscience for renewable resources and clean growth’, ‘Understanding the rules of life’, and ‘Transformative technologies’.
Discovery Medicine North (DiMeN) partnership
The DiMeN partnership trains the next generation of researchers to tackle the major health problems facing the population. Research areas include Infection and Global Health, Cancer, Multimorbidity, Frailty and Diseases of Ageing and Medical Technologies, Informatics and Quantitative approaches.
NERC Panorama Doctoral Training Partnership
PANORAMA prepares the next generation of environmental science leaders for industrial, governmental, NGO and academic careers and provides exceptional training across the range of environmental science in world-class research teams through an innovative, exciting and multi-disciplinary programme.
Cheney 4-year PhD Scheme in in situ structural biology
Exciting new developments in imaging and structural methods, known as in situ structural biology, can reveal the structure and behaviour of biological macromolecules inside healthy and diseased cells and tissues. The pioneering Cheney Scholarship 4-year PhD programme at the University of Leeds will train the next generation of researchers and exploit these new developments across a broad range of research areas with a great potential for translation.
